Biography | Actress Caroline Brauner
Caroline Brauner is a 9-year-old German-American actress with an intense curiosity for the world and a natural ease on screen. Born in Houston, Texas, she spent four formative years in southern Germany before returning to the U.S. at age seven. Though once fluent in German, she now remembers only the occasional phrase—but the experience left her with a global perspective that continues to shape her work and worldview.
Caroline recently wrapped a leading role as Livvy in the feature film "Compound." She stars opposite Olivia Macklin in the comedy short "Being Dead Should Be Easy," an official selection of the Oscar®-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, premiering in August 2025. She portrayed Young Anna in the dramatic short "There’s Something I Have to Tell You," which premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in April 2025 and was named Short Film of the Month by the Independent Shorts Awards in May. She also plays a supporting lead in the upcoming feature "Whistle Down Wind" (post-production, expected 2026), and appears as Carol Ann in "Blue Moon Rising" (post-production, expected Fall 2025), where she also contributed voiceover work.
Caroline continues to hone her craft through private coaching in on-camera technique with Jessi Clayton (co-founder of The Prep) and voiceover training with Sam Parker. Off set, she loves her family, her beloved dog Mommy Dog, globetrotting, and the simple joy of just being a kid.
